Setup
From download to first run

Get the zip archive from the link above.
Extract the zip
Put the archive wherever you like, right-click it, and choose "Extract All". Pick a destination and extract.
Run sitcobol.exe
Double-click sitcobol.exe inside the extracted folder. The SIT COBOL editor opens.

The editor already contains a short program. Press Run and the DISPLAY output appears in the execution log below.
Make a shortcut (recommended)
Right-click sitcobol.exe, choose "Send to" → "Desktop (create shortcut)". From then on the desktop icon is enough to launch it.
